This morning our worship resource continues to change shape.

This morning’s video resource continues our transition to in-person worship in anticipation of our first live-streamed worship service next week. The shift in this resource allows us to practice what the in-person streamed services will look and feel like when we begin to allow a small group of folks back into the sanctuary for in-person worship on October 18th.
Details about in-person worship beginning on the 18th were in this week’s E-News and Forecaster. They are also reprinted below. If you have any further questions at all, please contact the church office or drop us an email.

How to attend Worship Beginning at 10am, October 18th, 2020
Beginning October 18th, the church will be hosting a Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 am for up to 50 people. The plan will run through at least November 22nd. We anticipate adjustments along the way as the logistics team learns more about how to best provide a meaningful service for everyone.
If you would like to attend worship on the 18th at 10:00 am (please note shift in time), you must call the office between Monday (October 12th) and Thursday (October 15th) to make a reservation with Martha Hight. When you call, Martha will ask you to respond to these questions:
1. Have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID in the past 14 days?
2. Have you or anyone in your household been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID in the past 14 days?
3. Are you waiting on results of a COVID test?
4. Have you had a fever; a cough; loss of taste/smell or shortness of breath in the last 14 days?
You must be able to answer questions 1-4 with a “NO”. You must also be willing to take your temperature at home on Sunday Morning to make sure you are not running a fever… and you must be willing to wear a mask while at the church. These are not negotiable, and we trust you will understand why. When you call Martha for reservations she will give instructions about entrance to use; time to arrive and any other “need-to-know” information.
For those who are not ready to return to in-person worship OR are unable to attend in-person worship, the service will be streamed on our YouTube channel at 10:00 am. In the event that you were unable to watch the live-streamed service at 10:00 am…a recording of the service will be available on our YouTube channel shortly after the streamed service ends. At that point you will be able to view at your convenience. You can subscribe to the channel, and an email will be sent each Sunday morning with a link to the live-stream and an order of service for the day.
In the coming weeks we hope to expand the number of folks who can attend services and streamline the process for making reservations and attending. If you have any questions about this process, please contact the Deacon Chairman (Andy Archer); Vice-Chairman (Greg Hicks); your deacon; or the church staff. This entire project is a work-in-progress, and we look forward to the ways we learn and grow together by carefully taking these steps as a church.
